Fenty Beauty Pro Filtr Hydrating Foundation Review

Launched on August 15, the new Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Foundation – the second in their foundation formula drop- promised to deliver what their Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation didn’t.

“Recognizing the need for a hydrating Pro Filt’r formula that normal to dry skin types will love, Rihanna created a hydrating foundation that delivers it all — comfortable medium- to full-coverage, long-wear capability, and a natural finish,” read a press release from Fenty Beauty, which said the Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation was a “first-of-its-kind foundation” that brought together a natural-looking finish, a moisturizing feel, and coverage that actually lasts.

Just like the Pro Filtr Soft Matte Foundation, this new formula was expected to be sweat- and humidity-resistant, easily blendable, and noncomedogenic. However, this time around, the new compounds and ingredients included moisture-boosting, hydrating-locking grapeseed oil and hyaluronic acid — perfect for skin that leans a little (or a lot) dry.
